Formplay No.2
This piece started as a studio experiment with eleven U-shaped marble candlestick holders I found at Dirt Cheap. When I got the opportunity to create a public sculpture for Veterans Boulevard, I used the same form, scaled up to sixteen feet. Same playful composition, very different engineering challenges.
